I am originally from a small town near Hershey, PA. I currently live, work and play in the Pacific Northwest between the San Juan Islands and the Skagit Valley. I attended the University of Missouri from 1999-2000 on a full gymnastics scholarship, graduating with dual degrees in English and Graphic Design. From 2000-2002, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Yap, Federated States of Micronesia, where I helped to build and organize an elementary school library and computer lab and teach library and computer skills. I have over six years of creative design and international marketing experience. I am passionate about teaching sustainability and conservation practices and using my skills, education and energy in anyway that I can to help make the earth a better place. I'm a certified SCUBA diver and enjoy rock climbing, kayaking & hiking.  My travels have taken me to: The Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Guam, Indonesia, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, Bolivia, Czech Republic, Norway, Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, Scotland, Hong Kong and mainland China.
